This is the angle at which the photovoltaic (PV) panels are installed to the horizontal (see the image below). The ideal angle for panels to be installed is 30 degrees to the horizontal as this will provide maximum exposure to the Sun as it

Most domestic roofs on which you would install your PV system are built at around 30 degrees to conform to building regulations and roof strength requirements.
